Neuroaffirming Professional Reflective Practice

For passionate early childhood specialists, therapists and allied health professionals who want to add neuroaffirming perspectives and deeper nuance to their existing therapeutic toolkit.

Three sessions per term, online, capped at twenty, one claimable CPD hour per session.

This group is a dedicated, confidential space designed to ground your practice in neuroaffirming principles and practices with Kate’s Neurodevelopmental Circle of Needs Model.

What it includes:

• Discussion about what is impacting practitioners in real time will be weaved into learning how to apply the Neurodevelopmental Circle of Needs Model.
• We alternate between unpacking case studies and neuroaffirming concepts that align with the group’s chosen topics to ensure it is relevant and immediately applicable.
• Providing you with neuroaffirming pillars that will help guide you, as working in the disability space is becoming more complex.
• Recording of Kate presenting the neuroaffirming concept that sets the intention for each session (note: the remainder of each session will not be recorded for privacy)

Together, we will move beyond standard normative models to explore the deep intersection of neurodivergent development and thriving through the lens of Kate's Neurodevelopmental Circle of Needs model developed from 25 years of working with neurodivergent people, their families and support networks.
