Feel supported by a group that truly understands your daily life.
Why a small group?
These small groups are a great way to deep dive into a specialised neuroaffirming topic. You will be grouped with parents whose children have similar needs to your own. Together, you will learn the foundational pillars for supporting your children exactly where they are at.
We will discuss neuroaffirming parenting approaches specific to your situation and identify actionable steps that promote growth and development. We use my Neurodevelopmental Circle of Needs model to make complex concepts easy to understand and action.
Learn together with like minded parents so you don’t have to work this out on your own.

What parents are saying...
What a session looks like
You will get
- 6 live sessions with me and a small group of parents
- Infographics to visually see the concepts we are unpacking
- Time to share, unpack and ask questionsÂ
- A neuroaffirming low pressure environment
- Recording to watch sessions again (only my screen and face is shown)Â Â
Small enough to be heard
Places are limited so everyone gets time to share and ask questions (but no pressure to talk)
Matched to your circumstances
Groups are built around specific ages and focuses, so the topics and conversation is relevant to you
Feel supported and seen
We often feel like we are the only one whose life is this intense because unless we are connected to other neurodivergent families we don’t see families that look like ours
Practice and lived experience
Kate has over 25 years professional experience across education and disability. As well as her own lived experience as a multi-neurodivergent parent raising multi-neurodivergent children who are now confident teenagers
The group is neuroaffirming for you, not just for your child
This group is designed to be low demand.
Come as you are.
Type your questions instead of speaking them, or email them to me beforehand if you know you will lose them on the day.
Eat, fidget, walk around, lie down.
Keep your camera off.
Arrive late, leave early, or miss a week.
You get to experience the kind of support we talk about giving our children.
You may be wondering...
What if I miss a session?
My child is not formally diagnosed. Can I still come?
Do I have to talk?
Can my partner or my child's other carer come too?
Which group should I choose?
Can I use NDIS funds?
How is this different from the Dynamic Parenting Course?
Will these run again?
If you have been questioning your parenting abilities,Â
the problem is not your parenting.
When I was in the early stages of my parenting journey I was so confused because what worked for others did not work for my kids. I was told to try harder, be firmer and keep using the tools that I knew were not working.Â
The problem was that neurodivergent affirming tools and knowledge are needed for your child and family to thrive but none of us are taught these skills. Neurodivergent brains and bodies need a different support structure. Parenting with the wrong model and without a likeminded community is parenting on “hard mode” and we are often blamed when these strategies do not work for our kids. We need a supportive community around us as we learn how to navigate what comes with raising neurodivergent children in a neuronormative world.
I have developed a neuroaffirming parenting model that focuses on meeting individual neurodivergent needs. My Neurodevelopmental Circle of Needs model forms the basis of the parent groups and courses I run. It is used to support you to identify, understand and meet not only your child's needs but also your needs and the needs of the whole family.
I can help you find a different way forward that aligns with your child’s needs and promotes neuroaffirming flourishing.
